Terms of service

UFOStack sells dedicated servers, GPU servers, VPS and VDS hosting. The underlying hardware and data centres are operated by HOSTKEY B.V.; we order, configure and support your server, and we are your point of contact for everything relating to your order. We are an independent reseller and are not affiliated with HOSTKEY B.V..

Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) unless you choose euro (EUR) or Israeli shekels (ILS) with the currency selector at the top of the site. You can pay by card or, where checkout offers it, with PayPal. Cards are charged in Israeli shekels (ILS): the price shown, converted at the day's exchange rate. Checkout shows the exact amount before you pay. PayPal payments are charged in the currency shown. Prices are the total you pay for the billing period you select — monthly, or three, six or twelve months paid up front. The price shown at checkout is the price charged.

Payment is taken in full at the time of purchase. Your server is ordered automatically as soon as payment is confirmed, and normally becomes available within minutes. Your login details are shown in your customer portal once deployment completes. A customer's first larger order paid with PayPal is checked by hand before its server is ordered, usually within a few hours; checkout says so before you pay.

Before we tell you your server is ready, our system logs in to it once with the login details we set, to confirm that they work and that the operating system you ordered is installed. It reads the system's version and changes nothing. If the check fails, we reinstall the server before handing it over.

Availability is live but can change between page load and payment. If a server sells out before your order is placed, we will not charge you; if a charge has already been taken and we cannot deliver, we refund it in full.

Service runs for the period you paid for. You can cancel a server at any time from its page in your customer portal, in one of two ways: stop it renewing, so it keeps running until the end of the period you paid for; or cancel it now, so it is deleted straight away and the unused time is refunded as described below. You can also write to info@ufostack.com.

When a service ends, the server and all data on it are deleted and cannot be recovered — please take your own backups first.

If we fail to deliver a server you paid for, you get a full refund. If a server is materially faulty and we cannot fix it, you get a refund for the unused part of the period.

If you cancel a working server before the end of its period, you pay only for the time you used and the rest is refunded. Time is counted in whole hours, with any part of an hour counted as used. For a server paid for one month at a time, the refund is simply the unused share of what you paid. For a server paid for three, six or twelve months at a discount, the discount applies only to a term that is kept: the hours you used are charged at the monthly price for that server, and the rest of what you paid is refunded. The exact amount is shown before you confirm, and there is no cancellation fee.

Refunds go back to the card or PayPal account you paid with, in the currency you were charged in, and can take up to 7 business days to appear. A server terminated for a breach of these terms is not refunded. Your statutory cancellation rights under Israeli consumer protection law are not affected by anything in this section.

You may not use a server bought from us to:

Break the law in Israel or in the country where the server is located; send spam or operate phishing, malware or botnet infrastructure; attack, scan or overload other networks; infringe copyright or trade in stolen data; or host content that is illegal where the server is hosted.

Our supplier's acceptable use policy also applies to your server. Serious or repeated breaches may lead to suspension or termination without refund, and where the law requires it we will cooperate with the authorities.

You are responsible for what runs on your server, for keeping its software patched and its credentials safe, for the content you host, and for your own backups. We do not back up your server unless you have bought a service that explicitly includes it.

We work to keep your server online, but availability ultimately depends on the upstream data centre and network. Unless we have separately agreed a service level with you in writing, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost revenue or lost data.

We may suspend or terminate a service if payment fails, if these terms are breached, or if we are required to by our supplier or by law. Where circumstances reasonably allow, we will contact you first and give you a chance to put things right.

We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page with its update date, and changes do not apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Israel have exclusive jurisdiction.
